Radiant Taxi - Colombo, Sri Lanka

Very unreliable service. Today I ordered a cab today for 1pm to take my brother, his wife and infant (who had come from UK, and were not familiar with the local cabs) from Kirulapone to Mount Lavinia for a lunch with friends. I had to call the Radiant Cab office (which is on the same road where I reside at) about 4-5 times, the cab finally came at around 1.30pm. There's traffic during school rush hour (1.30pm) which is why I ordered the cab earlier. The people at Radiant Cab services seem disorganised, don't seem to care about customers or take things seriously which is probably why the service is so unreliable. Very poor customer service.

I used this serivce for almost 5 years. But the recent incidents show that this is not a reliable service. Today the 15th August 2013, I have booked a vehicle at 8.00am for pick up at 2.20pm (5 hours prior) until 2.30 the vehicle didnt come. Phoned they said within 15 mins, again phoned at 2.45, said within 5 mins. They always cheats. By 2.53 recived the message thats the time vehicle has been dispatched. Driver said he is in Thunmulla junction another 20 mins to my place. Is this reliable? be careful.
