Browns Tours - Colombo, Sri Lanka

We arranged a tour of Sri Lanka with Browns Tours. Just before we arrived they claimed that they had not received payment so we had pay again. Later investigation showed that the money was in their bank account all the time. Getting the extra payment back was very difficult and their attitude to this was very poor. Eventually we had to sit in their office and refuse to leave until
they gave us the money back. To compound matters they had not paid at least one of the hotels they had booked and we were held hostage by the hotel for an hour until this was sorted this out.
There are many good travel agents in Sri Lanka - Browns Tours should be avoided.
